Here's Looking at You, Viv!
Middletown: Vivian Houghton, Green Party candidate
for Delaware Attorney General, will "co-star" with Humphrey Bogart and
Ingrid Bergman at a campaign gathering and showing of the classic film "Casablanca"
as her campaign continues to build momentum towards victory on Election
Day.
"Campaigning is serious business about serious issues that
affect people. However, part of our campaign is getting to know
people, building the Green Party, and having fun together. The "Bogart,
Bergman & Houghton" event should be a terrific time," said Ms.
Houghton. "I'm humbled to be 'co-staring' with such greats as Bogart
and Bergman."
"Everyone is asked to come dressed as their favorite '40's
movie star to add to the fun," said Peggy Hullinger, the event's
coordinator. "I plan to come as Bette Davis ... 'da-a-hlings'.
Seriously, I hope all Vivian's supporters and those who want to know more
about her will come."
The exclusive showing of the film is scheduled for Friday,
September 27th at 7:00 PM at the Everett Theater, West Main Street,
Middletown, Delaware. Tickets are $10.00 per person. The
concession stand will be open.
